The company was incorporated in Malaysia on 23rd October 1985 under the name of Cometra Sdn Bhd. The company was changed to Cometra Travel Services Sdn Bhd on 25th June 1986.
The company is a private limited Bumiputra company and currently engaging only in air-ticketing services, in-bound tour and catering for Umrah trips. Other services, for example out-bound tour services are in the pipeline for future expanding.
